United Family Practice Health Center

 

  • United Family Practice Health Center is a nonprofit community health clinic that provides primary health care for families and individuals, regardless of someone’s ability to pay. With a staff of family medicine doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, we provide superior service and clinical care of the highest quality. Our physicians admit patients to United Hospital in St. Paul which is also where our OB services and deliveries occur. We patientsare also an award-winning site for training family doctors.

  • Our clinic is located in the culturally and economically diverse West 7th corridor, easily accessible by car or bus. Our patients travel to the clinic from our West 7th neighborhoods which is our primary service area,  – but also from the greater St. Paul area and surrounding metropolitan areas.

  • We are a busy and growing clinic – each month about 300 new patients come to us for care – many looking for an appointment that same day.

 

Who do we SERVE?

    1. We serve adults, children teens, youth, seniors and babies
    2. Our insurance coverage is broad. We accept most carriers and programs
    3. In addition, we offer a sliding fee scale.
     
  • patientWe provide care at two sites. Our main clinic is located on West 7th street, about ½ mile west of Downtown Saint Paul. Our second site, Sibley Manor Clinic, operates in an apartment complex at 1307 West Maynard Drive in St. Paul. The main clinic is open Monday through Friday and offers additional evening hours from Tuesday – Thursday.
  • United Family Practice Health Center is truly unique as a community health center in one important way - UFPHC is the home base for the United Family Medicine Residency Program, training doctors who will go on to provide primary medical care in Minnesota and beyond. Since its beginning 14 years ago – this nationally acclaimed Residency Program has graduated 65 family practice certified physicians! Two of our current staff physicians are graduates of our Residency Program! All of our physicians serve as faculty in the Residency Program.
