United Family Practice Health Center

patient

Our mission is to provide quality healthcare services to all patients regardless of their ability to pay.  United Family Practice Health Center (UFPHC) is undergoing a step-by-step transformation that will affect the health and lives of thousands of people in and around the city of St. Paul.

On March 13, 2004 the Clinic shifted from a medical clinic in the Allina Medical Clinic system to a freestanding, Federally Qualified Health Center “Look-Alike” (FQHCLA).

This means UFPHC is now one of three federally qualified medical clinics serving St. Paul and the surrounding area.

Another unique feature of UFPHC is that it is a teaching clinic. Because it is a teaching clinic - our physicians are also UFPHC faculty for the Residency Program. Our physicians follow patients who are admitted to the hospital. They "round" on our in-patients and remain involved with all medical decisions that impact our patients. This provides exceptional continuity of care and contributes to improved outcomes and patient satisfaction.
